(Jan. 30, 2005 - Lafayette, LA)... LAFAYETTE POWER SPORTS, a Motorcycle, ATV and Personal watercraft dealer in Lafayette La. market for the last 30 years is opening Acadiana’s largest marine dealership on Febuary 1st 2005.
The location of the dealership will be on HWY 90 south, next door to the existing motorcycle dealership. A 10,000 sq foot Showroom will hold 15+ boats on display indoors and 50+ outside. Current lines of boats include Alumacraft, Pro Line, Hurricane, Yamaha Jet boats, Bay Stealth by VIP, Beachcomber Pontoons, and Stingray Boats. Motor brands that will be carried are Mercury and Honda Marine.
Owner Dean Richard is excited about getting back into the Boating Buisness! "Its time someone steps up to the plate!" Mr. Richard is refering to the lack of dealerships in what is the Hub city of Acadiana. The state of the art showroom will offer a full line Ships store, a pro staff to assist shoppers and over 6 acres of property to display the best line up of Bow riders, runabouts, jet boats and cruisers. Alunimum bass, bay, jon and utility boats. Fiberglass sport, Bay, offshore and bass boats. "It’s what the boaters of Lafayette deserve" States Mr. Richard.
